why HOOKED ONTO these two is BEYOND ME!!!

M board bought for by DOCS!

--

i would go with Dr tabbal in NY-excellent

--

I have to disagree with you on that!!

--

Thank God you finally said it. On M's board you would have gotten banned. Everyone is still forgetting QUATELA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

--

Ah yes,Vito Quatela, I will be seeing him for a consultation in the spring time.
How are you? You sound happy!

--

I am sorry to hear about your situation. It seems like you are happy with the size and shape of your nose, but now since the swelling has gone down alot of problems are starting to surface? crookedness? graft showing? I am in the same boat as you, although I am not happy with the size of it. Its the standard T nose which I was hoping I wouldnt get. Bulky with the infamous high radix, which in fact was not in the imaging.
Good luck and I do hope things work out for you

--

DR T says chance of graft showing through is 5%!!! 5% my you know what.... It seems so much higher than 5% when I read through both of your messages and others as well! Oh and he seems to agree in consult not to put a radix graft if you insist, but now hearing your story it is more like he will put it anyway!!! It, sounds disturbing. did you specifically ask him not to put it and he did? what are your options now? are the irreguarities on the dorsal or casused by his famous batten grafts?

While it is true there is so much talk of Dr T and Dr D, but I guess it does not matter who you go to even if lets say QUATELA become the talk of town once as many people on the board start to use him you will hear the same stories about him too! It is the nature of rhino, although you might not pay as much but will have similar disappointing stories about him or Dr X when there are enough people to report back.

I have a T surgery scheduled, these posts are making me alittle nervous. Can anyone of you unhappy post op T patients who just posted email me?

--

I don't have a radix graft, thank god but I asked for a slope and got a high bridge.

--

I think all considering should prepare themselves for a higher bridge but I really did not expect to hear things like crookedness or grafts showing through, although if you are in the first 3 months swelling does sometimes could distort the appearance. I hope that is the case for you. over all do you think he gave you any improvements or you just have different set of problems now?

--

looks a little better, although my columella is crooked and one nostril is more blocked with grafts (2 new problems)

--

It is good to hear after all you have gone through you have gotten some improvements out of this. How far post opt are you? I do not want to give you false hope but some times the crookedness could be due to swelling specially if it is not in the mid third upper part. you also mentioned you have irregularities is that on the bridge or the tip? I sincerely hope things will get a bit better I know how much hope goes into revision.
